We’re Jess and Katherine
We decided to start this blog to amplify the voices of women of color. We met in late 2018 and quickly realized we both shared an appreciate for different cultures and especially our own, what makes us US. We both love a good story and know how stories can bring people together. But they can also connect us to universal truths about ourselves and our world. Through stories, we share passions, fears, sadness, hardships, joys, and we find common ground with other people.
Our Mission
To put a spotlight on the stories of women of color, all shades and different backgrounds, and have people see and understand the world through their lens.
What we hope to build
In addition to amplifying the voices of women of color, we want to build a community for all women. A community that is a safe space, no matter your ethnicity, pronoun, or sexual orientation. We welcome you with open arms!
